Site Audience

Over the course of two months since launching this fashion blog I have been visited by viewers from different countries most especially Canada, Brazil, United States, and parts of the European region. Though I am still in the process of building loyal readers and followers, I believe I would need to post regularly based on my target audience which are from the ages of 18 to 35 in order to achieve that. According to the statistics shown on WordPress’ analytics tool, I would need to publish posts following a schedule like every start of the week which is Monday and every morning, Mountain Standard Time. The Hootsuite program application is definitely what I will be using to publish posts in a timely manner.

As for Styledeur’s Instagram page, with the help of Iconosquare’s statistics, I have found out that the target audience tend to press like on my Fashion illustrations, photos that are creatively adorned with stickers, and photos from famous designers such as Chanel used as an inspiration for Fashion styling or creating mood boards. About 19.88% of viewers who have liked the photos are from non-followers of the page.

Using various social media tools has made me realize that it’s important to analyze the number of people visiting the website to know if the contents being published are effectively engaging with the target audience and have them follow the blog right after. Curating content based on the viewers’ preference, posting twice or thrice per week and publishing them on a timely manner are some of the best bets in creating website traffic and gaining social media followers. Definitely there is still room for improvement and I plan on further educating myself on search engine optimization and social media marketing strategies.
