Marchesa’s F/W 2016 is anything but glamour and romance. The red carpet worthy collection features designs reminiscent of Medieval era with a touch of 70’s vibe. The show stopping dresses are modernized with heavy embellishments, florals, lace, soft ruffles, and tassels. The color pallette used are a mix of metallic, pastels, and dark hues such as royal blue, gold, red, purple, and black to name a few.

The models are styled with their hair parted in the middle, tied, and braided back, with a few frays of hair left on the sides to give it a softer look. For the makeup, browns and toned oranges and reds were used giving off a romantic Shakespeare feel. To finish off, statement earrings and necklaces were worn which have added serious sparkle on the runway.

The collection is to die for most especially the jewelry and heels worn by the models. Every single dress presented will make a viewer stare in awe from its meticulous detailing and sparkly effect. Marchesa has delivered once again and has never fail to amuse the fashion forward crowd.
