Fashion Show at Pakistan Festival 2018

Vancouver.. a city with culturally diverse population which holds various festivals from different nations had just launched its annual Pakistan festival at the Vancouver Art Gallery grounds. From local food, clothing, music, and dance, Pakistan culture has a lot in store for everyone. One of its main festivities is having a fashion show showcasing its local designers. I had the privilege to walk the runway for House Of Fida fashion brand and I have to say their clothing line is absolutely gorgeous and stunning. Kudos to Aliyah Kazmi for organizing the fashion show and for giving me the opportunity to walk the runway. Photo credits to Imran Sadiq who’s done an awesome job capturing some of the pictures in the show.

Leather for the Holidays

Bored of the usual red or black dress for Christmas, I decided to wear something different for the party. With only two hours to shop for an outfit, I had quickly browsed the racks of clothing stores and had purchased different types of dresses and accessories. Thought I was done shopping, I decided to quickly check on Zara to see if there are any cute dresses available. And I was right, at the very end of the store where synthetic leather clothing were displayed, there I saw a one shoulder little black leather dress. Was intrigued by the cut of the clothing, I decided to try on the dress to see if it fits perfectly. Got a bit disappointed as the dress didn’t perfectly fit on my thin frame, though it was already an extra small. Still, that didn’t stop me from purchasing it as I know I can still make it look great by adding a few accessories and styling myself. In the end, I was satisfied with the dress after styling and matching it with dark red lipstick. The puffy sleeve however, didn’t suit my taste, so I had to cover it with a black leather jacket with a faux fur collar. So yeah, this was my Christmas party outfit for 2016, and for the new years, that will be a surprise. What did you guys wear for your Christmas party? ☺️
